Als stolzer Besitzer einer Vakuum-Kaffeemaschine von Sintrax
möchte ich einige Bilder mit der Welt teilen. Das Prinzip
der Kaffeemaschine ist durch Wikipedia
sehr gut erklärt, weswegen ich auf längere
Erläuterungen verzichte.
As of recently, I am the proud owner of a Sintrax vaccuum coffee
maker, so I decided to share some photos with the world. The
underlying principle of the coffee maker is explained best by
Wikipedia. Hence, I will not not disgress here.
Photos
Eine vollständig aufgebaute Sintrax ist recht groß. Diese
hier ist bis zum Rand mit Wasser gefüllt. In der Mitte ist
der Aufsatz mit gläsernem Filter und Dichtung zu erkennen.
A fully assembled Sintrax is quite large. This one has been
filled to the brim with water. In the middle, you can see the
upper section containing the glass filter and gasket.
Das Gestell der Sintrax enthält eine Heizspirale. Ich
empfehle, das Wasser abzukochen, bevor es in die Kanne
gegossen wird. Andernfalls dauert es bis zum Kochen sehr viel
länger.
At the stand, a coil heating element is used. It is advisable
to heat the water before pouring it into the Sintrax's
lower part. Otherwise, the boiling process will take too long.
Der obere Behälter fasst einen Liter herrlichen Kaffees. Ob
das Jenaer Glas den Geschmack verbessert, ist momentan
spekulativ.
The top container holds up to one litre of perfect coffee. At
the moment, it is still unclear whether the Jena glass improves
taste.

Ich habe ein kurzes Video vorbereitet, das im Zeitraffer den
gesamten Brühvorgang illustriert. Der Teil, in dem der Kaffee den
oberen Behälter wieder verlässt, ist in normaler
Geschwindigkeit gedreht. Falls eine automatische Wiedergabe
nicht funktioniert, so kann das man das
Video auch herunterladen.
I have prepared a short video that shows an accelerated version
of the brewing process. The part that shows the coffee
leaving the upper container is running at normal speed.
The video can also be downloaded, in
case automatic playback does not work.
